Terms of Service

Effective October 22, 2026 · Contact support@mapleradio.net

1. About these terms

These terms govern the Maple Radio website, radio service, forums, Maple Lounge, Free Market, Game Room and submission features. “Maple Radio,” “we,” and “us” refer to the operator of this independent California-based project. Contact us at support@mapleradio.net. By using the service, you agree to these terms; if you do not agree, stop using it. The Community Rules and Music & creator policy also apply. The Privacy & cookies explains our data practices.

We are not affiliated with or endorsed by Nexon, MapleStory, or the original Maple Radio operators. Their names and trademarks belong to their respective owners. Nostalgic references do not grant us ownership of their artwork, music, or branding.

2. Who may participate

This service is intended for people 13 and older. If you are under 18, use it only with a parent or guardian’s permission and supervision. Creator music submissions and staff accounts require an adult who can enter an agreement. Do not provide false age, identity, or ownership information.

Listening and reading do not require an account. A verified email is required for listener posting and chat; it confirms access to an inbox, not someone's age, identity or trustworthiness. Staff accounts are created by the operator, with separate permissions. Keep credentials private, do not share or sell accounts, and tell us promptly about unauthorized access. An existing staff session can also identify you in the forum and lounge.

3. Listening and requests

You may use the site and its player for lawful personal listening. A request is a suggestion, not a promise of airplay, a purchase, or a grant of music rights. We may decline submissions, edit a shoutout for length or safety, change schedules, or remove material. You are responsible for your internet access and data charges.

We do not grant a general right to download, rebroadcast, sell, or reuse music. Rights independently granted by an artist’s open license, and rights provided by law, remain available under their own conditions.

4. Your messages and music

Forum posts, replies, market listings and published lounge messages are public. Submit only content you own or are authorized to share. You grant Maple Radio a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, format and display those contributions and your chosen public profile details to operate the community, deliver it through our service providers, and moderate abuse. This is not a transfer of ownership or permission to sell your contributions or reuse them in unrelated advertising. It does not authorize broadcasting music you mention or link to.

You keep ownership of your contributions. When you authorize an on-air request or shoutout, you give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free permission to store, review, edit for length or safety, and read the submitted display name and message on the station. Submit only material you may share. Avoid private information about yourself or others.

Music submissions require the separate creator permission shown before submission. That specific grant controls our use of the music and can be withdrawn through the submission receipt. General use of this site does not transfer your music rights.

Publishing a shoutout on the guild board requires the separate public-sharing choice in the form. Chatting or posting in the forum does not by itself opt you into a guild-board shoutout or on-air dedication. You may request removal of your contributions at support@mapleradio.net. We may retain restricted copies for moderation, backups, legal obligations or disputes as explained in the Privacy & cookies. Removal cannot undo past broadcasts or copies made by others.

5. Responsible use and moderation

Follow the Community Rules. Do not infringe rights, impersonate others, harass people, distribute malware, exploit the service, bypass access controls, or flood its forms. Keep staff credentials and submission receipts private. Report suspected compromise to support@mapleradio.net.

Maple Lounge is a public conversation, not a private or continuously supervised service. Automated checks may hold content or restrict participation and can miss abuse or flag innocent messages. Staff may remove content, limit features, issue timeouts, suspend access or close a room to protect the community. A staff badge identifies a station role, not a background check or guarantee of safety. Use Report or email support to request a human review; do not repost removed content or create accounts to evade restrictions. We do not promise an immediate response or offer emergency assistance.

We may restrict access, reject submissions, or suspend or terminate accounts and submission privileges for abuse or infringement, including repeat infringement. We consider relevant context and corrections. You may request a review by email. We accommodate applicable standard copyright-protection technical measures.

6. Free Market and community rewards

The Free Market is a noticeboard for permitted in-game items traded for mesos or other in-game items. We are not a party to trades, a payment processor, an escrow service or a guarantor. Listings and user statements are not endorsed or independently verified by Maple Radio. Confirm item details in the game's trade window and follow the game operator's rules. Do not send real money, share credentials, download tools or trade accounts, keys, boosting services or stolen items through this site.

Stamps, thanks, EXP, levels and game scores are entertainment features with no cash value, ownership interest or entitlement to staff access. They may change when content is moderated or the feature is updated. Do not manipulate votes, thanks or participation counts. We cannot reverse an in-game trade; report scams both here and through the game's support tools.

7. Availability and responsibility

The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” to the extent permitted by law. We do not promise uninterrupted playback, error-free operation, acceptance of submissions, or permanent storage. Keep your own original files. External sites and linked services have their own terms and practices.

To the extent permitted by law, Maple Radio is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from use of the service. These terms do not exclude liability for fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, or anything that cannot lawfully be limited, and do not waive mandatory consumer rights.

8. Changes and disputes

California law and applicable U.S. federal law govern these terms, except where mandatory local protections apply. Contact support@mapleradio.net to try to resolve a concern; doing so is not a condition on exercising legal rights. These terms do not require arbitration or waive class-action rights.

We will date policy changes here and post a site notice for material changes. Changes apply prospectively; where legally required, we will obtain fresh agreement before they apply. New creator grants require the current permission version; changes do not rewrite previously recorded grants. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply.
